Influence of the Loading Rate on the Cracking Process of Concrete in Quasi-Static Loading Domain

This study presents analysis of two types experimental test related to the crack propagation in concrete specimens subjected high-sustained loading levels and quasi-static loadings. The concept equivalent length is introduced perform this analysis. Even though partial, it shows influence rate conditions on process rate. result that, domains low very rates, mechanical characteristics linked cracking (for example, tensile strength, post-cracking behaviour, etc.) are dependent rates applied for determining them.
